The GCDF Credential was first introduced to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in 2009 through the efforts of Mr. Ahmed Mostafa Kamal, a pioneer in advancing career development practices across the Arab world.

Arab Career Development Association (ACDA)

Building on more than a decade of professional engagement with the global career development community, the Arab Career Development Association (ACDA) was officially registered in the United States in 2022 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of the career development field across Arab countries and communities. Under this framework, ACDA has developed the first Arabic Career Development Facilitator (ACDF) training program tailored to the cultural and professional needs of the region.

The ACDF program is designed in alignment with the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) competencies and it is officially approved by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) as a qualifying training pathway for individuals seeking the GCDF credential.
