Please be aware of ongoing scams and fraud schemes by predatory groups and individuals who are sometimes posing as NBCC or CCE representatives, and/or using NBCC/CCE trademarks and logos. These individuals are attempting to solicit money or obtain personal information via email addresses not associated with NBCC/CCE or its testing services provider, Pearson VUE. NBCC/CCE does not directly solicit money for examinations or request sensitive information via email or text message.
Be wary of suspicious and unsolicited emails, especially those demanding immediate action or payment, requesting personal or sensitive information. Check the sender’s email address(es), and avoid clicking on links or opening attachments from unfamiliar email addresses, unless the sender’s identity has been verified. If you have any questions or doubts about the legitimacy or authenticity of an email claiming to be from NBCC/CCE and soliciting money or requesting personal information, please contact scamalert@nbcc.org for verification.
