FAQ
Several curricula have been approved by the CCE Board to satisfy the credential requirements. I work full time and don’t feel I have the time to be in a classroom for training. What are my options? Many approved trainers offer flexible schedules including intensive weekend only options. CCE has also approved a comprehensive distance learning curriculum offered by Rokicki and Associates, Inc out of Florida. Other distance learning curricula will be available soon and will be posted on this site. I have completed the required training through a CCE approved trainer. My highest educational level completed is an associates degree. At this time, I do not have enough hours to satisfy the experience requirement. What can I do?Because you have successfully completed the required training, you may be eligible for provisional certification. Once provisional certification is awarded, you have two years to complete the experience requirement. I have many years of GCDF experience but have not completed the training. I would like to obtain certification now. What can I do?You can apply for provisional certification which allows you two years to complete the training. I sent my application with the required money. My check was cashed. Doesn’t this mean I should be certified now.The application fee is a processing and reviewing fee. Your file must be reviewed to assure you meet all requirements. I am looking for the GCDF-US application. Where is it?The GCDF-US application is available for download here in PDF format. |
