I have completed the required training through ReadyMinds and have a provisional GCDF certification. Does provisional GCDF certification qualify me for the DCF credential?
In order to be eligible for the DCF credential, applicants must be FULLY certified as a GCDF OR hold a Master’s degree in a helping professional field from a regionally accredited college or university, have successfully completed a graduate level career development course, and be able to document 2,000 hours of career development or related experience. The DCF training course is valid for a period of five years.
I sent my application with the required money. My check was cashed. Doesn’t this mean I should be certified now?The application fee is a processing and reviewing fee. Your file must be reviewed to assure you meet all requirements. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your application to be reviewed.
How am I going to incorporate the DCF training in my work?This training can be an important professional enhancement for you in staying current on new and important advancements in your field as well as helping you perform and expand upon your current work responsibilities.
