For more than 10 years, The Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE) has provided a variety of services ranging from comprehensive association and credential management to specialized aspects of credential review and measurement functions.

Operating as a wholly controlled tax-exempt 501(c)6, CCE was created in response to ongoing requests from other organizations to the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. and Affiliates (NBCC) for assistance with credentialing, assessment, and management services. While CCE’s staff members have a proven record of success in their own right, they also work closely with the NBCC staff, drawing on a rich 25-year history of credentialing, ethics, assessment, and organizational management experience.

Recognized for excellence, the CCE staff is frequently invited to present to other national organizations and participates actively in the committee work of several highly regarded groups. Among these are the Association of Test Publishers (ATP), the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR), and the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA).

While CCE’s initial projects focused on counseling and related professions, its reputation for excellence resulted in requests from organizations representing many other fields. CCE serves clients from a diverse array of professions ranging from medical to interior design.

CCE’s positive standing and well-known cooperative working relationships also quickly expanded beyond U.S. borders and into many different languages. Numerous international clients include the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG). CCE has active contracts in more than 15 countries and in more than ten languages. Controlled but rapid growth is projected for the remainder of this decade and into the next.
